CANTON, NY -- The City College of New York women's cross country season ended on Saturday with a pair of Beavers--Yanelle Serrano (Bronx, NY) and Amy Jacob (Queens, NY)--taking part in the NCAA Atlantic Regional Championships.  Despite the frigid conditions at the snow-covered Hoffman Cross Country Course, both women registered a personal-best time for 6000 meters.

Serrano, running for the final time in a CCNY jersey, finished 200th overall with a 27:07. 4 clocking.  Jacob, meanwhile, came across the line in 31:27.0 to capture 254th place.

Since CCNY only entered two athletes, the Beavers were ineligible for a team score.  Earning berths in the NCAA Championships as the top two team finishers were Geneseo and RPI.
