Christopher Mango

Christopher Mango is in his second year as the Head Coach of the CCNY Lacrosse program.

Mango came to CCNY from Georgia Southern University, after serving as the head coach for one season.

Prior to his arrival at Georgia Southern, Mango served as the head coach at Mount Saint Michael (Bronx, NY).  In the spring of 2015, he led the Mountaineers varsity lacrosse team to the semi-finals of the CHSAA "A" league championship, ending with a 9-7 record. After the season, he was selected as the assistant coach the CHSAA's Senior All-Star team at the Mayor's Cup.

Prior to that, he was the Assistant Coach/Offensive Coordinator at the College of Mount Saint Vincent for three seasons. With the Dolphins, he helped lead the program to their all-time best start in 2014. He was also responsible for the program's recruiting efforts outside of New York. 

Mango's coaching career started as a coach at his high school alma mater, Iona Prep for their as an assistant coach for freshman team and later was promoted to head coach. 

Mango earned a Bachelor's degree in Marketing from Iona College and a Master's degree in Sports and Recreation Administration with a Concentration in Coaching from Western Kentucky University.
