STUDENT WORK-STUDY POSITIONS
The CCNY athletics department has several Federal Work-Study positions for the 2024-25 academic year.
The following positions allow students to pursue an area of personal interest, including many specific to students' career goals. Knowledge of athletics is not required.
Work-study opportunities are available on a semester or yearly basis. Fall work-study positions run from September through December, and spring work-study positions begin in January and conclude in May.

Under the supervision of the FWS supervisors, the FWS Gym and Fitness Assistant will:
- Assist in the set-up and operation of all intramural and recreation facilities, games, and practices
- Assist with the Fitness center and gym monitoring.

The FWS student will assist the FWS supervisors with the following:
- Assist in monitoring activities in the Nat Holman Gymnasium.
- Assisting with informing visitors of policies to maintain a safe and organized environment in the Nat Holman gym
- Serve as front desk receptionist, providing updated information and guidance to student-athletes, parents, clients, and other constituents.
- Assist with sorting data and providing collaborative reports
- Assist with administrative duties, including emails, preparing for student-athlete meetings, and assisting with communications for various events hosted by athletics and recreation.
- Assist with organizing details and communications for recreational activities.
- Assist with producing quarterly alumni newsletter.
- Students must be able to work independently under the direct supervision of the FWS supervisors.
