New York, NY - The City College of New York men's volleyball team opened CUNY Athletic Conference play Thursday evening, falling on the road to John Jay College in three sets (25-8, 25-13, 25-16).

The Beavers fall to 1-7 overall and 0-1 in CUNYAC play.

Senior Reng Chen produced five kills and two digs. Sophomore Kyrylo Vysotsky dished out 10 assists. Sophomore Brandon Green had three kills and a block. Freshman Mahmoud Tayeh finished with two kills, a pair of blocks, and a dig. Freshman Nana Boateng had two kills, four digs, and a block.

Next, the Beavers return home on Wednesday, February 26, hosting Hunter College at the Nat Holman Gymnasium at 7:00 p.m.
