Rentals at CCNY Athletics: Rates, Policies, and Facility Information

Facility Rental Application

CCNY Athletics proudly offers access to its premier athletic facilities for a wide range of events, programs, and community partnerships. Located in the heart of Harlem, our spaces provide a dynamic and well-maintained environment ideal for competitions, practices, tournaments, and special events. The following rental rates and policies outline the guidelines, services, and support available to ensure every event hosted at CCNY is safe, organized, and successful.

Athletic Facility Rental Policy & Rules

  • College athletic and student programming take precedence over all rentals.

  • The Athletics Director or a designee will determine whether a proposed activity is appropriate.

  • Events sponsored, organized, and operated by CCNY for college purposes must cover the actual costs of the event.

  • CCNY Athletics Department hourly rates do not include Security, Custodial, or administrative charges. Clients will incur additional costs for these services or any other event needs.

  • Security requirements are determined by attendance, event type, and duration.

  • Custodial services are based on event type and hours of use.

  • Final payment is due on or before the agreed-upon event start date.

  • All facility renters are required to enter into a contractual agreement with the College, including the purchase of adequate liability insurance.

Nat Holman Gymnasium

Located within the Marshak Science Building, the Nat Holman Gymnasium is CCNY Athletics’ flagship indoor venue and a historic space within collegiate athletics. The gymnasium features a full-size basketball court, spectator seating, and essential game-day infrastructure, making it ideal for athletic competitions, practices, tournaments, community events, and special programs.

Designed to accommodate both competitive and non-competitive events, Nat Holman Gymnasium offers a versatile layout supported by on-site staffing, optional game-day amenities, and access to locker room facilities. Its central campus location and rich athletic legacy make it a premier destination for hosting impactful and memorable events.

Rental Rates

Nat Holman Gymnasium

Marshak Science Building

  • For-Profit Organizations: $400.00 per hour

  • Non-Profit Organizations: $340.00 per hour
    (15% discount — applies to the hourly facility rate only)

Administrative Charge

  • A $100.00 administrative fee will be applied to each rental.

This fee covers:

  • Contract processing

  • Coordination of event requirements

  • Assignment of an on-site event supervisor for the duration of the event

Staffing Costs

Staffing assignments are determined based on event needs.

  • Senior Supervisor: $35.00 per hour

  • Junior Supervisor: $30.00 per hour

Add-On Costs

Optional services may be requested at an additional cost:

  • $250.00 – Game Day Bundle
    Includes: Scorer’s table, clock, bleacher seating (one side), and locker room access
    Final pricing subject to confirmation

  • $100.00 – Audio/Visual Equipment
    Does not include personnel to operate equipment

  • Tables & Chairs
    Available upon request. Charges will be assessed based on quantity required.
