Jordan Ortega led the Beavers to two conference wins this week as the Beavers clinched their first playoff berth since the 2009-10 season. Ortega finished with 17 points and seven rebounds in Monday's 50-47 victory over York College before posting his fifth double-double of the season in a 57-44 win over the Lightning of Lehman College. Ending the week in a nonconference battle at Yeshiva University, Ortega reached the 20-point plateau for the first time in his CCNY career, scoring a career-high 25 points on 12-of-20 shooting. The sophomore forward added nine rebounds, six coming on the offensive glass against the Maccabees. On the week, the Bronx native averaged 17.7 points and 9.3 rebounds.
