Licensing

About Licensing & Trademarks

The City College of New York Department of Athletics licensing program is designed to promote, protect, and properly manage the use of the CCNY Athletics brand. The Department of Athletics oversees the presentation and use of all athletic marks, including trademarks, service marks, logos, insignias, seals, symbols, and slogans associated with or referring to CCNY Athletics.

To ensure brand consistency and quality, all individuals, organizations, and vendors must receive approval from the CCNY Department of Athletics prior to producing or distributing merchandise or materials that feature CCNY Athletics marks.

This process helps maintain the integrity of the CCNY brand while ensuring that officially licensed merchandise meets university standards.

Revenue generated through licensed merchandise directly supports CCNY Athletics programs and initiatives, helping enhance the experience for student-athletes and fans.
