Mejia won meet MVP honors at the CUNYAC Championships on Sunday, earning the most points of any competitor. Mejia was victorious in the shot put with a season-best 12.14 meters. Mejia also scored with a second place finish in the 110 meter hurdles (16.68), and third place finishes in the discus (30.62 meters), the hammer throw (30.50) and the javelin (43.09 meters).
