Newman was a dominating force this past week in wins over Medgar Evers and York. Against the Cougars on Monday, Newman had four goals and one assist. Facing the Cardinals on Saturday, Newman was part of nearly every score with four goals and three assists. The senior team captain is currently ranked second in the nation in goals per game and points per game. For her accomplishments, Newman earned her third CUNYAC Player of the Week award this season.
