The City College of Ney York Athletics

Sophomore Ashley Beaver broke her own school records in the weight throw and shot put as the City College of New York indoor track and field teams competed in the CTC Championships hosted by Wesleyan University on Sunday in Middletown, Connecticut.  Beaver had her best day of the season, coming in second in the shot put with a mark of 11.97 meters and qualifying for the ECACs. Beaver also came in third in the weight throw with a distance of 14.49 meters, another ECAC qualifier.
