Sophomore Ashley Beaver set a CCNY school record in the women's shot put at the Goucher Classic, throwing for a distance of 11.55 meters and coming in second place. Beaver was also second in the discus (36.17 meters) and in the hammer throw (34.68 meters). Beaver also threw for a distance of 22.57 meters in the javelin, the second-best mark of her career.
