Freshman Melissa Paredes led CCNY to their first CUNYAC Championship since 2011 on Sunday, winning the 400 meter hurdles with a time of 1:11.25, taking first in the 800 meter run as she crossed the finish line first with a time of 2:24.75, a CCNY freshman record. Paredes reached second in the women's 1500 meter run with a time of 5:20.24, and finally placing third in the 5000 meter run with a time of 22:29.11. Paredes finished the day with 34 points, coming in second in the meet MVP race by just four points.
