Tavarez helped lead CCNY to a third place finish in the CUNYAC Championships, hitting .500 over three games with six hits, two RBI, two triples, and an .833 slugging percentage. Tavarez went three-for-five in City's 10-2 win over Lehman as the Beavers reached the semifinals for the first time since 2007.
