The City College of Ney York Athletics

New York, NY - Freshmen Lucy Piacentini of the City College of New York women's track and field team has been named the CUNYAC/Army ROTC Outdoor Track and Field Rookie of the Week for her performance at the Golden Ram Invitational over the weekend.

Piacentini, had her day filled at the Golden Ram Invite. In the high jump she took third with a personal best jump of 1.53m. In the triple jump, she placed ninth with a mark of 10.04m. On the track, Piacentini made her college debut in the 400m hurdles, clocking a time of 1:10.18. She also ran the forth leg on the 4x400m relay team that placed 11th overall.

The Beavers are back in action this weekend for the Ramapo College Invitational in Mahwah, NJ.
