Darya Vasedin put forth a very good week for the Beavers' women's tennis squad for the period of Monday, September 20th to Sunday, September 26th. In a 9-0 loss to Baruch College, the junior gave No. 1 Bearcat player Viktoriya Morozova all she could handle, as Vasedin would drop that set 6-4, 6-4. Then, teaming with Natalie Saint Eloi, the pair fell to Baruch's Morozova and Alina Bero 8-5 in a hard-fought match.
The next day, Vasedin was a huge factor in CCNY's 7-2 victory over New York City College of Technology, defeating Kimberly Battle 6-2, 6-3 at No. 1 singles, and then teaming up with LaPortia Hackworth to turn back Olayinka Sarayi and Battle by a score of 8-0.
