Muhammad Zakari of the men's soccer team was named City College of New York male Athlete of the Week for the second consecutive week, as the dangerous Beaver standout put forth a pair of phenomenal efforts in CCNY's 0-1-1 showing from the period of September 27th-October 3rd. This past Wednesday afternoon, in the Beavers' 2-2 tie against the Yellow Jackets of New York City Tech, Zakari scored twice on penalty kicks. Then, three days later in a road contest against the Cougars of Medgar Evers, the junior tallied an assist as CCNY fell in the game by a score of 5-3. On the season, Zakari leads his squad with six goals.
