Men's Indoor Track and Field's Marcus Bazan was named the City College of New York's Male Athlete of the Week for his great performances for the week of Monday, November 29th through Sunday, December 5th.

The Alexander Hamilton High School product put together a hearty effort and was one of his team's major contributors at the CTC Relay Carnival. In the triple jump event, he qualified for the CTC championships with a leap of 13.06 meters.

Following his sensational effort in the triple jump, Bazan then competed as a member of the Beavers' 4x200 meter relay team, and that foursome qualified for CTC championships by claiming seventh place in that event out of 11 schools that scored, as CCNY came in with a time of 1:39.26.
