Donika Rexhepi's tremendous week during the span of Monday, January 24th, 2011-Sunday, January 30th, 2011 earned her CCNY Female Athlete of the Week honors. The speedy point guard from White Plains, NY put forth a number of great performances during City College's three games during the week.
Back on Monday, January 24th, in an 82-54 loss to St. Joseph's College of Connecticut, Rexhepi finished the game with 14 points on seven-of-16 shooting to go along with nine rebounds. Then, two days later in CCNY's 74-41 victory over NY City Tech, the 5'8 standout had arguably her best game of the season, finishing with 26 points to go along with 10 rebounds and six assists. She topped her week off with a 24-point, nine-rebound performance in the Beavers' 77-53 loss to Brooklyn College this past Saturday at the Nat Holman Gymnasium.
For the season, Rexhepi is averging 12.5 points per game while also averaging 7.8 rebounds per contest.
