Right-handed pitcher Gary McCool was named one of CCNY's two Athletes of the Week for the span of Monday, March 21st through Sunday, March 27th.

McCool earned the recognition after he turned in a terrific performance in game two of the Beavers' non-conference doubleheader against SUNY Maritime in Maritime, NY on Saturday afternoon. In that game, McCool allowed just one earned-run on three hits in taking the loss. He gave CCNY a chance to win the game, but the Beavers couldn't muster a run offensively, and fell 1-0
