Women's Soccer Goaltender Nicole Carroll was named City College's Female Athlete of the Week for the period of Wednesday, September 1st through Monday, September 5th for her solid performance in net during the Beavers' season-opening match.

In a 2-0 defeat at the hands of SUNY Purchase back on September 3rd, Carroll, a Division II Concordia College transfer, held things down between the pipes and gave her team a chance to win, as she allowed just two goals while making six saves. She is expected to provide stability in net for Don Manfia's crew this year
