The City College of New York women's soccer team was topped 9-0 by Ramapo on Saturday afternoon.

The match started with both teams looking to control the ball. For most of the first half, the Beavers were able to hold off the Roadrunners, defensively. However, at the 22', Ramapo struck first taking a 1-0 lead.

The Roadrunners struck three more times in the first half to take a 4-0 lead going into the half.

The second half looked like the first half where City tried to hold on defensively and keep away the dominate Ramapo Roadrunners. Ramapo picked up five more goals before the horn sounded to end the match. The Roadrunners picked up their ninth victory of the season with a 9-0 win over the Beavers.

Emily Ramos, played all match in goal and tallied 26 saves. She picked up 14 of those saves in the first half, while the other 12 came in the second half.

CCNY will travel to New Haven, Connecticut on Wedesday, October 28 to face non-conference opponent Albertus Magnus.
