The City College of New York women's soccer team came up short against Sussex Community College at the College of Staten Island Fall Classic in Staten Island, New York. The Beavers fell 7-0 to Sussex CC.

Giselle Sanchez took the Beavers (0-3-0) only two shots during the match. Both of the shots were on goal.

Goalie Zoe-Elena Rosenbloom picked up 13 saves in the loss.

Sussex County CC (1-1-0) had 31 shots with 20 of them on goal.

The squad will host their first home match of the season on Wednesday Septemer 9 at 4 p.m. against Cairn Univeristy. The match will take place at Randall's Island on field #91.
