The City College Women's Basketball team defeated host St. Joesph's College - Long Island, 93-63, in their season opener on Saturday. Six Beavers finished the game in double figures. Elizabeth Zullo was the offensive leader for CCNY, finishing with a team-high 16 points in the win. Erika Richards reached 15 points, grabbed 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals.

The CMSV Women's Basketball team wrapped up play at the season opening Neumann University Tip-Off Tournament on Saturday afternoon, as they took on Wesley College in the consolation game. The Dolphins lost 62-56, to fall to 0-2 on the season.
