Staten Island, NY. – The City College of New York's men's soccer team earned it's third win of the season after a 1-0 victory over CUNYAC opponent College of Staten Island on Saturday afternoon.
The lone goal of the contest came in the 79th minute, when Miguel Muniz (Fr./ Segovia, Spain) netted a shot after, CSI's goalkeeper came up to make a routine save and dropped the ball. The goal was Muniz's first goal of the season.
Goalie Maxwell Berkow made his sixth start in the goal for the Beavers and picked up his first clean sheet of the season.
The City College of New York men's soccer will return to action on Wednesday, September 21, in a home conference match-up against Lehman College at Randall's Island.
