STORYLINE

New York, NY - The City College Men's Basketball team (8-6) host Lehman College (8-7) tonight at 7:00pm. City sits ahead one game of Lehman in the conference standings. Both teams met earlier this season when the Beavers had the better of the Lighting, defeating Lehman on their home court 74-66. The Beavers come into the on a five game winning streak. The Beavers recent game was against York College, in a 92-86 comeback victory  last Wednesday night at the Nat Holman Gymnasium. The Lehman College Lighting enter the game with two straight conference wins over Hunter and Medgar Evers.

Khalil Hamer scored a career high 33-points to lead the City College Beavers to a 92-86 comeback victory over York College on Wednesday night at the Nat Holman Gymnasium. Along with his career high 33-points, Khalil Hamer ended with eight rebounds, four steals and three assists in 40 minutes of play. Mark Richards also finished the game with a career-high 25-points (9-for-13 from the field), and nine rebounds. David Solano had another good shooting night, adding 17 points for the Lavender and Black.

Scouting Lehman College

The Lehman College men's basketball team used their best scoring performance of the season and got contributions from the entire squad as they beat Medgar Evers, 111-77, Friday night in CUNYAC play at the Cougars Cave. Damian Bellamy was the Lightning's top scorer, one of five players in double figures. He recorded a double-double with 23 points and 11 rebounds in the victory.
