The City College Men's Basketball team (4-6) host John Jay College (1-9) in the first conference game of the new year. The Beavers are coming off the holiday break where the team at home Friday afternoon defeated McDaniel College 75-67. The John Jay Bloodhounds come into the game after picking up their first win of the season over Sarah Lawrence College 66-60.

New York, NY - The City College Men's Basketball team ended the year of 2016 with a overtime victory Friday night over McDaniel College, 75-67. Senior Robbie Dionisio notched his second double-double of the season in the game. Dionisio recorded 17 points, 10 rebounds and two blocks. Khalil Hamer posted 18-points, seven assists,five boards, and three steals. Junior Salvatore Palazzolo played well off the bench scoring 16-points.

The men's basketball team recorded their first win of the 2016-17 season after defeating Sarah Lawrence College, 66-60, on Monday afternoon at the Doghouse. The Bloodhounds improve to 1-9 on the season. In the game, Sophomore Essien Epps registered a career-high 31 points, shooting 12-for-17 from the field, with a team-high nine rebounds, and a game-high six steals.
