The City College Men's Basketball team (5-6) host Brooklyn College (3-10) tonight at 7:00pm. The Beavers come into the on a two game winning streak. CCNY defeated conference rival John Jay College 73-59. The Brooklyn College Bulldogs enter the game on a five game losing streak. The Bulldogs fell to CUNYAC opponent Medgar Evers 74-73.

New York, NY - The City College Men's Basketball started the new year off at the Nat Holman Gymnasium, with a conference victory Wednesday night over John Jay College, 73-59. Five CCNY players scored in double figures. Senior Mark Richards notched 14 points, six rebounds, two steals and two blocks. Senior Robbie Dionisio recorded 11 points, five rebounds and two blocks. Junior Salvatore Palazzolo scored 14-points off the bench. Senior Khalil Hamer added 11-points, six rebounds and six assists Senior David Solano put 10-points dished three assists.
Scouting Brooklyn College
The Brooklyn men's basketball team fell to Medgar Evers when the Cougers knock down a fall-away three-pointer at the buzzer for the 74-73 win, handing the Bulldogs their fifth loss in a row. The Bulldogs move to 3-10 overall and 1-3 in CUNYAC with the conference loss. Senior guard Chris McIllhatton scored a game-high 28. Junior guard Maynard Grant IV was Brooklyn's only other scorer to reach double-figures with 11 points for the game. McIllhatton finished the evening shooting 5-10 from beyond the arc.
