Mahwah, NJ – In non-conference action, the CCNY men's soccer program fell to Ramapo College, 7-1.  The Bison fired 27 shots, scoring three goals in the first half and four in the second.  Junior Marcus De Pompeis and sophomore Bryant Ibarra combined to make seven saves in net for the Lavender & Black.

Junior Kamaroudine Tchabalandja scored the Beavers lone goal in the 22nd minute of play. The goal was assisted by Christopher Lavalle.

The leading performer for Ramapo was Edward Franzoni, who had three goals for the Roadrunners. 

Overall, the Beavers were outshot 27-7 and faced a 16-4 shot on goal deficit. Chabalandja and freshman Stephen Ojo fired the four on goal shots that forced Ramapo's goalie to make three saves in the game.

With the loss, CCNY now stands at 0-10-0.

Next up for the Lavender & Black is a conference match at home against the Medgar Evers Cougars. The contest is slated for Oct. 7 for a 9:30 AM kickoff.
