Springfield, MA – In the first round of the ECAC Postseason Tournament, the CCNY women's soccer program fell to Marywood University, 9-1. The Pacers fired 42 shots, scoring seven goals in the first half and two in the second. Sophomore keeper Catherine Langkamp make 14 saves in net for the Lavender & Black.
Sophomore Gabrielle Duchaussee scored the Beavers lone goal in the 83rd minute of play on a penalty kick.
The leading performer for Marywood was Julie Youngman, who had four goals for the Pacers.
Overall, the Beavers were outshot 42-3 and faced a 23-2 shot on goal deficit.
With the loss, CCNY's season comes to close with the programs best overall record in four seasons, with a finish of 8-6-2.
