Mahwah, NJ – The CCNY women's basketball team dropped its season-opener at Ramapo College on Wednesday evening by a final score of 52-33.
Ramapo had taken control early in the game, ending the first-period leading CCNY 16-4. The Roadrunner's entered halftime with a 22-8 lead over the Beavers.
In the third-period, Ramapo outscored CCNY 16-4, closing the quarter with a 21 point advantage (38-17). Ramapo closed out the game holding a 19 point lead, earning the win, 52-33.

Ashley Brooks lead CCNY with a game-high 11 rebounds. Rookie
Crystal Blair totaled seven points and eight rebounds. Senior

Madison LaSalle equally split 12 points, as Zullo added two assists and LaSalle tallied three rebounds and two steals. Junior
Corina Coles finished with five points, four rebounds, and two steals.
CCNY travels to Langhorne, PA to take on Cairn University on Saturday, Nov. 18. Tip-off is scheduled for 1 PM.
