NEW YORK, NY - The City College men's volleyball team dropped a four-set decision to ST. Joseph's College-LI in non-conference play at the Nat Holman Gymnasium Monday night. The Beavers took the second set in the defeat.
After falling 25-14 in the opener, the Lavender & Black rallied to take the second set 25-23. The Golden Eagles won set three 25-8 and closed out the match 25-7 in the fourth.
Sophomore David Cham recorded 13-kills, six-digs, two assists and an ace. Freshmen Carlos Maldonado Madrid posted 10 kills along with three digs. Senior Oleksandr Boychuk had 21 assists, while Seth Diaz finished with two blocks for the Beavers
CCNY's next game is in conference play against the Medgar Evers College Cougars tomorrow evening. First serve is scheduled for 7 PM.
