Patchogue, N.Y. – The CCNY women's soccer program fell on the road to the St. Joseph's College - Long Island Golden Eagles Tuesday evening, 4-1.  St. Joseph's used three second half goals to hand the Lavender & Black their first defeat of the season.  Freshman Amy Gomez scored her second collegiate goal in the loss.

The Lavender & Black had four shots on goal, one each from sophomore Gabrielle Duchaussee, freshman Odalis Puma and two from Gomez.

Sophomore goalkeeper Catherine Langkamp faced 28 shots, making 12 saves.

Sophomore Tatiana Zuluaga recorded her fifth assist of the season on CCNY's lone goal.

CCNY ended the game with six total shots, its sixth consecutive contest with at least double-digit scoring attempts.  The Beavers allowed 28 shots in the contest

The Lavender & Black return to the pitch on Saturday, Sept. 16 when they host the College of Staten Island. The match is set to begin at 2:30 pm.
