Bronx, NY - The CCNY men's soccer team suffered a loss in City University of New York Athletic Conference action with a 5-0 setback to Lehman College Wednesday afternoon on the road.
The Beavers' defense was on their heels the entire game, facing a combined 18 total shots. CCNY netminder
Marcus De Pompeis made six saves in the game.
The lightning were led by Salh Alzubidi, who registered two goals in the game. Alzubidi netted back-to-back goals in the 30th and 43rd minutes.
The offense from CCNY stemmed from
Kamaroudine Tchabalandja who had three shots in the contest. His teammates
Christopher Lavelle and
Ousmane Gaye each had a shot in the game as well.
The Lavender & Black return to the pitch on Saturday, Sep. 23, in their home-opener against conference foe Baruch College. The match is set to start at 9:30 am at Randall's Island -Field 91.
