BROOKLYN, NY – The City College of New York women's basketball team dropped a Tuesday evening contest against the Brooklyn College Bulldogs on the road, 76-37.
Nineteen turnovers and a 69-to-34 rebounding disadvantage sealed Beavers' fate in the game.
Junior
Debra Chan collected a team-high 11 points and two steals. Senior
Erica Redwood netted eight points, along with eight rebounds in 26 minutes. Junior
Ashley Brooks lead the team in rebounding with 10 total in the game.
Taylor George led the Bulldogs with 17 points, Karen Mak netted 16, and Chanel Jemmott dropped in 15.
With the loss, the Beavers drop to 13-8 overall and 7-6 in league play. The team sits in fifth place in the conference standings going into the last stretch of the season.
The Beavers return to Nat Holman Gymnasium for their next contest on Feb. 6 hosting York College.
