Frostburg, Md. – On Saturday, the CCNY women's basketball team was defeated by Frostburg State in the opening contest of the Jim Crawley Classic, 67-44.
The Beavers were led by senior
Debra Chans' nine points and five assists. Junior
Mara Poch finished with eight points and three rebounds.
Ashley Brooks concluded with a team-high five rebounds and six points.
Frostburg had two players in double figures. Megan Kelly had 13 points and five steals, while Victoria Diggs ended with 10 points.
CCNY returns to play tomorrow when they take on #20 Christopher Newport at 1:00 pm.
