NEW YORK, NY – The CCNY men's volleyball program continued its hot start to the 2018 season on Thursday evening, defeating Yeshiva University in straight sets.
CCNY clicked on all cylinders and eked out set one 25-12. The Lavender & Black offensive excelled in sets two and three, leading to 25-11 and 25-12 decisions.
Sophomore
Carlos Maldonado Madrid had his fifth straight double-digit kill effort with a game-high 16 kills. Freshman
Abdullah Khalid recorded seven kills and a team-high two blocks. Senior
David Cham chipped in with a team-high five aces, along with four kills. Freshman
Christopher Lee had seven digs and two assists.
Freshman
Hei Chun Chan ended with his fifth 20+ assists performance with a match-high 25.
CCNY's next game is its CUNYAC opener against the Lehman and Staten Island on Monday.
