NEW YORK, NY - The City College of New York men's volleyball program fell in straight sets at Baruch College on Tuesday night.
Baruch connected on 37 kills on 81 attempts towards a .247 hitting percentage in the match. The Bearcats took the first and second sets 25-16 and 25-15 and used a late rally in the final frame to snag a 25-21 victory.
David Cham and
Carlos Maldonado Madrid each led CCNY with seven kills each. Cham added five digs, two aces, and one solo block, while Maldonado Madrid chipped in four digs.
Hei Chun Chan contributed 12 assists and
Andres Ramirez finished with five.
The Beavers return to the road on Saturday, Mar. 3, with a trip to Long Island, NY to face the Golden Eagles of St. Joseph's College-Long Island.
