Throggs Neck, N.Y. - The CCNY men's soccer team suffered a 5-0 loss at Maritime College Saturday afternoon, in their 2018 season opener.  

Sophomore Salim Kounaweh had a team-high of two shots. Overall, the Beavers had six total shots, two of which were on goal.

Two-sport athlete Christopher Moreno made his collegiate debut in goal for the Beavers, making six stops.

The Beavers return to action on Wednesday, Sept. 5 in Newark, N.J. where they'll face Rutgers-Newark at 7:00 PM.
