Brooklyn, N.Y. – The CCNY women's basketball team fell to Brooklyn College, 78-38, in CUNY Athletic Conference action on Friday evening.
CCNY battle with Brooklyn in the first period, forcing the Bulldogs to commit eight turnovers. The Beavers trail Brooklyn by a four-point margin at the end of the period (17-13).
In the second quarter, the Bulldogs pulled away, outscoring CCNY 22-8 in the period to hold a 31-21 lead at halftime.
The Bulldogs extend their lead in the second half, jumping out to a 34-point lead (59-25) at the end of the third quarter.

Madison LaSalle recorded six points apiece. Senior
Ashley Brooks added five points, eight rebounds, and two blocks.
The Beavers continue their road game stretch when they take on the College of New Rochelle on Sunday, Jan. 13.
