New York, NY – In the program's third CUNY Athletic Conference semifinal appearance in the past four seasons, No. 4 seed CCNY fell to the top-seeded Hunter College, 92-61.
Senior
Ashley Brooks tallied 14 points, 11 rebounds, and five blocks. Senior
Debra Chan followed with 10 points and three assists. Sophomore
Crystal Blair posted eight points and 13 rebounds.
Elizabeth Zullo,
Madison LaSalle, and
Emily Arias all finished with six points.
Hunter had four players in double figures led by Jade Aponte 29 points. Theresa Leung had 14 points, while Ashley Arias had 10 and Phoebe Valenton had 15 off the bench.
The Beavers were outshot 55.0%-35.7%.
The CCNY's women's basketball team finished the 2018-19 campaign with a 16-11 overall mark.
