Montclair, N.J. – The CCNY men's soccer team suffered a 4-0 loss at Montclair State University on Monday evening.
Montclair's first goal came in the 35th minute, scored by Erick Chicas.
Entering halftime, the Beavers played a solid defensive effort that held Montclair's lead to 1-0 at the break.
In the second half, Montclair would burst out with three goals in the period to earn a 4-0 victory over the Beavers.
Freshman Amadou Barry had a team-high two shots for the Lavender & Black.
Freshman Kacper Lesniak made his fourth straight start in goal, making 11 saves.
CCNY will return to the pitch on Saturday with a non-conference tilt at FDU-Florham in Madison, N.J.
