Throggs Neck, NY - The CCNY women's soccer improved to 2-2 with a 3-1 non-conference win at Maritime College Thursday night.
Senior midfielder
Gabrielle Duchaussee scored the first goal of the game in the seventh minute.
At the 20:38 mark, freshman
Maria Tomais scored her first goal of the season off a feed from senior
Tatiana Zuluaga to put the Beavers up 2-0.
Duchaussee scored her second goal of the evening and ninth season in the 53
rd minute to give CCNY a 3-0 lead.
Junior
Gabrielle Cillibrasi made the start in goal, allowing one goal.
The Beavers outshot Maritime 11-9 in the contest and held a 9-5 advantage on corner kicks.
The Beavers will travel to Longmeadow, Mass. on Saturday for a matchup with Bay Path University.
