Throggs Neck, NY - The City College New York men's basketball team fell on the road on Saturday afternoon, dropping a non-conference matchup to New York City neighbor Maritime College, 79-51. The Beavers even to 3-3 overall with the loss.
Sophomore
Yassine Sakhi posted 15 points, nine rebounds, and two steals. Sophomore Junior
Dashaun Galloway finished the afternoon with eight points and two rebounds. Freshman
Bayame Bah made his first career start, ending with a career-high ten rebounds, three blocks, and six points.
Freshman
Jordan Williams recorded a season-high eight points and two rebounds, while classmate
Peter Gjini had six points, two rebounds, two steals in the contest.
The Privateers outshot the Beavers in the game 49.3% to 32.8%, while CCNY outrebounded Maritime 41 to 40.
The Beavers return to action on Tuesday, Nov. 23, on the road against Sarah Lawrence College at 7:00 p.m.
