Jersey City, NJ - The City College of New York women's basketball team fell to New Jersey City University, 120-26, on Monday night on the road. The Beavers stand at 0-3 on the season with the loss.
Freshman Fatoumata Nantoume led the Beavers with a team-high 13 points and a season-high seven rebounds. Freshman Charlotte Foberg totaled seven points, nine rebounds, three steals, and two blocks. Freshman two-sport student-athlete Nicole Magretta made her season debut for the Beavers, finishing with two points, two rebounds, and three assists.
Freshman Theresa Luna picked up two points, one rebound, and an assist. Leondra Craig added two points and a rebound, while Amelia Ridenour collected one rebound and a steal.
Next, the Beavers continue their five-game road swing with a stop at Drew University on Saturday, Dec. 11, at 1:00 p.m.
