New York, NY - The City College of New York men's soccer team claimed its second-straight win on Saturday night, defeating Brooklyn College at home, 2-1.
After a scoreless defensive battle for the start of the contest, Brooklyn struck first late in the half when Jordi Hernandez netted a goal in the 44th minute to put the Bulldogs ahead.
In the second, sophomore Adrian Montalvan evened the match, chipping in a goal off a corner kick in the 68th minute. In the 77th minute, freshman Hazim Naji scored the game-winner.
Next, the Beavers close out their home stands on Wednesday, Oct. 12, hosting Baruch College at Randall's Island - Field 10 at 7:00 p.m.
