Riverdale, NY - In their 2022-23 season-opener, the CCNY women's basketball team fell on the road to the College of Mount Saint Vincent, 66-26.

Junior Monae Laing led the Beavers with seven points, a game-high 11 rebounds, four assists, and three steals. Freshman Anna Vikatos made her colligate debut, finishing with six points, four rebounds, two steals, and a pair of blocks in 40 minutes of action. Sophomore Kasia Morrison tallied five points, seven rebounds, and a steal in her first game as a Beaver.

Freshman Joscelyn Ramos made her college debut, adding four points and two rebounds. Sophomore Leondra Craig capped the evening with two points, five rebounds, and an assist.

Two players led the Dolphins in double-figures, with Amber Been posting a game-high 19 points, four rebounds, and six assists, while Kira Villegas had 12 points, six rebounds, and four assists.

Next, the Beavers return to action on Monday, Nov. 14, on the road against Mitchell College at 6:00 p.m.
