Bethlehem, PA - The City College of New York women's basketball team closed out the calendar year on Sunday, falling to DeSales University, 82-18, in their final game of the Steel Club Classic.
Junior
Monae Laing was named to the Steel Club Classic's All-Tournament Team. Laing led the Beavers with eight points and 13 rebounds. Sophomore
Kasia Morrison added three points and three rebounds. Sophomore
Leondra Craig finished with three points, three rebounds, and a steal.
Freshman
Joscelyn Ramos had two points, four rebounds, and three steals. Freshman
Noemy Santana chipped ended with two points and four rebounds, while
Fatoumata Nantoume grabbed five rebounds.
The Beavers return to conference play to open the New Year, hosting Lehman College on Tuesday, Jan. 3., at 5:00 p.m.
