New York, NY - The CCNY men's volleyball team's stellar season came to a close Thursday night, as the Beavers fell to Baruch College in straight sets (25-23, 25-20, 25-18) in the semifinals of the 2022 CUNY Athletic Conference Championships.

Xhulio Myftari led the Beavers with 16 kills and six digs. Rahul Sharma had four kills and nine digs, while Utpal Chand grabbed four kills and eight digs. 

Jeffrey Celis dished 23 assists in the contest, along with eight digs and two kills. Mohamed Elshary registered a pair of kills and two blocks, while Edwin Fierros Gaytan had eight digs.

The Beavers finish the season with a 13-7 overall record, making their second semifinal appearance in the past three seasons.
