Brooklyn, NY - The City College of New York women's basketball program opened the 2024-25 season on Friday night, falling on the road against St. Joseph University Brooklyn, 92-35.

Senior Kasia Morrison finished with nine points, four steals, and two rebounds. Senior guard Anais Rosa finished with five points and two steals in her season debut. Junior Samantha Johnson added four points and a team-high seven rebounds in 15 minutes of action. Junior Joscelyn Ramos posted three points and six rebounds, while sophomore Ashley Colon had five points and four rebounds. Freshman Ashley Subervi grabbed a team-high seven rebounds, while freshman Domenik Charles tallied four points, two rebounds, and an assist.

Next, the Beavers return to competition on Sunday, Nov. 24, against FDU-Florham in Madison, NJ, at 1:00 p.m.
