Riverdale, NY - The City College of New York women's soccer program opened the 2024 season on Friday evening in a non-conference match against the University of Mount Saint Vincent, falling to the Dolphins 6-0.

Junior goalkeeper Laila Issa started in goal for the Beavers, making a career-high eight saves in the match. Sophomore forward Stella Bolduc tallied the Beavers lone shot attempt of the match, targeting a shot-on-goal inside the 13th minute of the match (12:49).

Next, the Beavers return to action following Labor Day Weekend on Wednesday, Sept. 4, on the road against the United States Merchant Marine Academy at 7:00 p.m.
